Megan is one of YOGAthletix’ yoga instructors and she teaches all styles of yoga, including GETnZEN, Yogathletix and Yogasana. She also develops and facilitates many specialized yoga workshops, sharing her twenty-seven years of experience to offer unique opportunities for mindful fitness. Megan has over five hundred hours of RYT, is trained in vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, and she has reiki level 2 training. Megan is also a registered massage therapist and considers herself an “anatomy nerd”, so alignment is a focus in every class. Couple her extensive training with her ability to incorporate self-discovery, inquiry and play into every practice and you’ll find her classes are in-depth, fine-tuned, intelligent, challenging and always accessible for every level of learner.

Megan believes that movement, sleep and a healthful diet are equal factors to a balanced life, and works to embody this philosophy in her own life (although she has been known to indulge in a sour key… or 4). Outside of YOGAthletix she takes yoga classes all over the city, enjoys playing in the park with her son Arlo and participates in various other fitness endeavours, including having competed in four Tough Mudder runs. Megan’s authenticity and love of yoga are infectious and will have you feeling refreshed and recharged in every class.
